Takedown Request Policy
Last updated: June 13, 2026
BriefNepal respects the rights of content creators and publishers. If you believe content displayed on BriefNepal infringes your copyright or should be removed, we will act on valid requests promptly.
How to submit a request
Email briefnepalshorts@gmail.com with the subject line “Takedown Request” and include the following:
- The exact URL(s) on BriefNepal you want removed (e.g. https://briefnepal.com/article/...).
- Identification of the copyrighted work or material concerned, and the original source URL.
- Your name, organisation, and contact details.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your request is accurate, and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We aim to acknowledge requests within 72 hours and remove validly identified content as quickly as possible. Because BriefNepal only displays headlines, short summaries and links, removal is usually immediate.
Standing requests
Publishers may also request that we stop aggregating an entire publication or feed. Email us and we will remove your source from our system.
Counter-notice
If content was removed and you believe this was a mistake, you may reply with a counter-notice explaining why, and we will review.
